Locally-Led Adaptation (LLA) Framework For Global Finance Mechanisms (COP30 Side Event)

A rich and engaging discussion was held during the side event on the Locally-led Adaptation Framework for Global Finance Mechanisms on 12 November 2025, led by GUK, LH, DYDF, along with Christian Aid, ACCC Members (BRAC, R1, NGOFC, CWT), Balance, CANSA, and NTFP-EP.

Various cases, experiences, and insights were shared that solidify the justification for further encouraging governments and multilateral institutions to integrate Locally-Led Adaptation Frameworks into their climate policies, financing mechanisms, and strategies.

We would like to express our gratitude to our esteemed panel of discussants.
