ACT Alliance to lead a Multi-stakeholder Dialogue on Climate Action in Thailand

16 February 2021, Virtual – Asia Climate Change Consortium (ACCC) member ACT Alliance will lead in the holding of a national multi-stakeholder dialogue in Thailand on 18 February 2021. This is open to the public; however, the dialogue will be in Thai with English subtitles.

Co-organized by the British Embassy in Bangkok, Environmental Research Institute Chulalongkorn University (ERIC) and Environment Development Sustainability Chulalongkorn University (EDS), the meeting aims to ensure that the different stakeholders in Thailand are in the same page in terms of understanding and action.  Speakers include Dr. Wanun Permpibul of Climate Watch Thailand, Dr. Natthakorn Kraikul of PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, Ms. Chanutsakul Supirak of the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning, and, Dr. Orathai Chavalparit of Chulalongkorn University.

This is part of the greater action of members of the ACCC towards a regional dialogue this month and in March to ensure that different stakeholders are able to level off on the current updates on climate science, negotiations and action.#
